Going home last night, I was stopped at a roadblock being carried out by the Henry County PD and the City of McDonough PD.
Since I am a fat guy, I had my pistol in my lap. When the Officer walked up to the car and shined his flashlight in, he asked if that was a gun in my lap. When I said yes, he said just throw it in the passenger seat and show him my drivers liscense.
I wasn't wven dragged out of my car at gun point or nothing. What A crock!
Man I love living out in the country.

I got out of my car once at a traffic stop, not knowing that it wasn't such a good idea, from standpoint of officer safety. I talked to the backup. Officer (in cruiser) didn't say anything at first. But after giving me a warning, he kind of yelled at me for getting out of the car.
