Pakistan court delays immunity ruling on U.S. prisoner - Yahoo! News
I don't know if I've under a rock or what. This is the first I heard of this case. A former special forces soldier working at the embassy in Pakistan stopped an armed robbery by killing two suspects. A U.S. vehicle that came to his aid killed a third person. He is being held by Pakistan awaiting trial despite claims of immunity by the U.S. Ex-special forces + Pakistan + U.S. employee seems to have a CIA SOG ring to it. I guess they picked the wrong guy to rob. Or maybe he picked them to "rob" him. Either way, bad guys are dead and good guy is in jail.
This could be the entire measure of the administration in my eyes. Let them work the diplomacy. In the end, this soldier better be coming home.
