Help,
I was recently issued a 2011 Ford CV PI cruiser with these god awful headrests that are angled forward and push my chin into my chest. After the first day my neck was killing me. I popped it out and turned it around. Does anyone know if Ford is addressing this? If an older model headrest will fit?
I work with one other Trooper who also has the same complaint we can't be the only ones.

Ah Skepticism . Yeah it's nice to get a new cruiser, I put 120,000 on the last one, until they deemed it unsafe for patrol after 100,000. So I guess I was due.
Not a police officer, State Trooper and the owners manual says 2011.

So you're saying you're not a police officer but a state trooper? With "Police" being a generic term & used previously as a generic term, are you saying state troopers aren't police?

Are you still wearing your hat in the car?
I would go through channels and SUGGEST management
complain to Ford. Ford seems to do better when state police agencies
complain about problems.
For everyone else........
Be nice to the poor trooper.
Everyone knows that campaign hats
eventually cut off blood to the brain.
On a clear night, I can see the other deputies emergency lights at least 10 miles away.
But it isnt flat here LOL

I believe that no matter when it was posted, it sounds like a technical problem, but with Crown Vic's, not with RP. Thanks to the recently departed (from RP at least) joyee for bringing this back to the forefront of our attention. Originally Posted by greg72982
