One hopes there is a special place in Hell for the evil people who make, trade, and possess child pornography. Until they get there, we are committed to putting them in jail. -- David Procopio, Massachusetts State Police
Nope. It is just a pressure sensitive lock... no different than those door knobs you see with the 4 buttons you can hit a sequence on to gain entry. They are fairly secure.
We bring evil things to evil people, kicking in a door near you!

in practice, there is."

"The difference between 'involvement' and 'commitment' is like
an eggs-and-ham breakfast: the chicken was 'involved' - the pig
was'committed'."

When the wolf attacks, he will find not all who run with the flock are sheep!
I have a large gun safe bolted to the wall and floor, when mine gets older, he won't be able to tip it. We had a death here recently where a toddler pulled his father's gun safe down onto himself and was killed, make sure you bolt it down, or take some measure to make sure it can't be knocked over.
Anyways, back on topic. Mines a digital safe, and I set the combination to a set of numbers easily punched in by feel alone. At night, my wife takes her gun out of the safe and moves it to her nightstand. When Im home, we both have a gun on our nightstands at night. During the day they go back in the safe. My little guy is still a bit too young to get in our room and snoop around, but when he's old enough, I too plan on getting him well acclimated to my guns.
My father had a rotary dial safe when i was growing up, which he kept set on the second number. A quick spin to the third number and it was open.
