German Dad Castrates Daughter's Older Boyfriend

A German dad took matters of morality into his own hands when he sought out and castrated the 57-year-old boyfriend of his 17-year-old daughter, reports the British daily Telegraph.

Helmut Seifert, 47, an ethnic German originally from Russia, was enraged when he heard his daughter was having a relationship with the much older Phillip Genscher, the Telegraph reports.

Seifert claims to have approached police in his hometown of Bielefeld but officers said they were powerless to intervene, the Telegraph reports

"You said you couldn't stop him - so I did," Seifert said. "I saw it as my duty as a father."

Seifert, a factory worker, recruited two work colleagues, went to Genscher's house, forced the older man to take off his pants and then castrated him while fully conscious, the Telegraph reports.

"The severed testicles were taken away by the perpetrator," the police said in a statement.
The victim barely survived the incident, but did not have all his parts reattached, the Telegraph reports.

Seifert pleaded guilty and will be on trial for attempted murder next year, but has remained silent on who his accomplices were, the Telegraph reports.

I wonder what the trophy mount for that looks like? Not a fair fight as the dad was so much younger.

Think about all the future boyfriends for his daughter. . "Umm, your dad is THAT guy? I suddenly have to go home before my ball sack shrinks any more up into my body in absolute terror."

Most fathers clean their guns when the boyfriend visits. This guy just washes the kitchen cutlery.

Seriously though, I'm not sure what to make of this. As far as I can tell, the girl didn't get a disease or pregnant from this guy. It was consensual. I don't particularly blame the dad for his feeling but his daughter is just as responsible. He failed when he couldn't convince his daughter to stop seeing this guy. I have no sympathy for any of them. The truly sad part is that the person with all the control (the daughter) is the least impacted.

When my daughters were dating, they told me I had "the look". After they were adults, I was told that more than a couple of boys mentioned it when they left and they weren't asked out again by them.

Seriously, it's really all about respect. There was only one kid that I flat didn't like and I told my daughter. She didn't go out with him again. If they don't respect you at 7, they won't at 17 either.

Seems like this guy looked deeply in his "originally from Russia Wodka". Man I can tell you, those siberian returnees are like animals sometimes.

Yep, I can second what driet wrote. And, for sure, it wasn't me who castrates the boyfriend, but I had thoughts like that when my daughter started dating :-)
