Pretty good story about a murder of a little girl and the investigator that followed up on it. I'm going out on a limb here and basing what I read here, that the investigator is an 1811 type person with NCIS.
With the Oathkeepers story, and this one, where do these moms come from? They seem to be half the problem.

NCIS Cold Case Squads are manned by 1811/special agents. NCIS agents are referred to in the media as "Navy investigators" all the time, but the the media gets the little details wrong on all sorts of stories.
