    Underage Drinking Loophole?

I am 18 years old, was at a party and the cops busted it. About 20 people there all got cited, I did not have an ID or my social security number but gave the rest of my general info like name and adress and phone number but is that enough evidence that I was actually tehre and it wasnt just one of my friends slandering my name so he wouldnt get in trouble? Will i get anything in the mail before the court date? (My plan is to go to court and plead not guilty, I am going to testify that I was not at that party, I was else where) There is really no concrete evidence to prove it was actually me because "its not what you know, its what you can prove". So my question to all you experienced law enforcers is could I get off with this plan? And if the officer who cited me is there and claims that he remembers me coudnt i just rebut and say I find that very hard to beleive that you remember me (the ordinary white boy) after over a motnh of time passing with no proof of ID or anything at the scene of the citation. They did not breathlize or blood test me, they claimed I self admitted. If i went to court and just said yes I was drinking what would the fine be in Philadelphia? Thank You for your help.

Why not just cowboy up? Most of us drank underage, and most of us did something stupid while doing it. The difference is when I was caught by my parents I took the punishment and was honest. Your post is a huge sign of immaturity and should be a sign your not ready to drink. Get over yourself, you were caught red handed. A few years in the service would obvisiously do you some good.

Go to the court and advise them you wish to file form ID 10t (also known as the "I wasn't there" defense). Tell them what you've told us and underage drinking will seem like a minor deal.

    Note..........

ID 10t really? Do you think im a fool?
In all honestly they dont have enough evidence to find me guilty I understand perjury is a major offense but the matter of fact is they cant prove that I was there. Isnt that what our legal system is all about? Innocent until PROVEN guilty or am I missing something, they may know, or think they know that it was I who was at the party but its about what you can prove, and unless they took fingerprints and a photo without me knowing they dont hav my SS number of my school ID number nor did I show them my ID so its pretty evident the only evidence they have to convict me is general info alot of people know about me.

There are ways to confirm it was you other than the officer's memory alone. Go ahead and try that though Mr. attorney, you'll see where lying under oath gets you.

The fine varies but you can count on a few hundred dollars and a license suspension.

Asking here will get you no better answers than it got you other places you asked it.

The officer's testimony that he remembers you will probably be enough to convict.

We do not give out advice on how to beat charges that you admit your guilt to.

And we are not going to tell you it's "okay" to perjure yourself.

"Innocent until proven guilty" means that you can stay silent and let the government prove it's case. If the court believes that the officer's testimony, you get convicted.

It does NOT mean lie and let the court decide to believe your lie or the officer's honest testimony.

I'm closing this before it gets any worse in here.
