Best of times in the worst situations!

Ok, my uncle is a LEO back home in Illinois. Last time when I was on leave he told one of his stories. I had to share with the collective group, and was also wondering what is YOUR best story??

"OK.....
0200 ....
Initial call is man with knife.
2 units were sent .... sure enough some dude is in middle of road with a knife daring some one to come and take it from him.
the units arrive and the guy keeps his distance, but still runs his mouth.
So they call a SGT. once there the SGT gets on radio and asks if anyone has a "less than lethal (LTL)"
now bear in mind the block has emptied out into the street and is egging this guy on....
I am the unit that has the shotgun so I go...
once there the SGT gives me the go ahead.
so I go back to my unit and get the "pink shotgun"
Here's the funny part ..... the gaggle of rubberneckers (once they see the "pink shotgun") take a collective breath and start telling him to give up!!!!!!
I walk up to the "line" and issue my commands to put the knife down or I will be forced to employ a less than lethal (LTL). he begins to tell me how manly I look with a pink gun.....fill in blanks of what all he said. the gaggle is now screaming at him to stop it.
now when giving the "LTL" commands yougive one command, rack the slide, wait a minute then issue the second command, wait a minute, then shoulder the weapon, wait a minute (bear in mind by policy you are to count to 60 in your head), then fire at the chest.
1st round went to chest, second round went into his groin!!!!!!
he did go down!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
