Check out 18 US Code 472: "Uttering counterfeit obligations or securities" which states, "Whoever, with intent to defraud, passes, utters, publishes, or sells, or attempts to pass, utter, publish, or sell, or with like intent brings into the United States or keeps in possession or conceals any falsely made, forged, counterfeited, or altered obligation or other security of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both."

Learn something new every day. If you buy a drug that you need a script for off the street or in a foriegn country and bring it back but is not a controlled substance is it unlawful?

Nope. For years, almost all acid blocking medications were prescription only even though they contained no controlled substances. Stuff like Viagra still requires a prescription, but if you're caught with it and no prescription, it's not a crime. However, if you're caught with Oxycontin in your pocket and no prescription, it's jail time.

Yep, if you're going to ask cops a question on a site that verifies that they are legit cops, and then doubt that they're legit because you don't like their answer, why ask the question in the first place. Looks like any honest inquiry by the OP is now gone, so I'm gonna close this one.
