Dude, I do this every night; I'm straight up and not drunk!

Try telling THIS to a judge.

The aptly named Zachary Duis took an unusual tact trying to dodge a drunk driving bust: telling the cops he gets blotto nightly.

"Dude, I do this every night; I'm straight up and not drunk!," Duis reportedly told police after an Indiana state trooper pulled him over.

After failing field sobriety tests, he was taken to the Portage Police Department where he failed a breathalyzer, registering at four times the legal limit of .08, ChicagoBreakingNews.com reports.

Police reportedly spotted Duis, 24, after a Good Samaritan called to report a pickup truck driving erratically.

I mean, we're getting killed for these people and they don't even appreciate it. They think it's a big joke.
