I get claustrophobia when I hear the clank of heavy prison doors, especially when you have to pass through 3-4 to get in or out.
I wouldn't spend a week in the state pen in Reidsville or the Atlanta federal penitentiary for $14 million as much as I could use the money. I've interviewed subjects in both and was always happy to leave a free man.

$1 million a year is a pretty good income, especially if room and board are provided. A nice cushy fed joint would be my choice. Some of them are really nice.

I've spent enough of my life when I was young in places I didn't want to be, with people I didn't want to be around. Not to mention being forced to do things I didn't like by people who were clueless and not in danger themselves. For that I got about 400 bucks a month. I'll pass and just enjoy life. Besides, I'm too redneck to be trusted with that kind of money.
