Was offered a job in headquarters, so I'm going inside for a while. A buddy of mine who's there working another job told me "You'll find it interesting: You'll be the only 'cop' in the building". Anyway, wish me luck.

Congrats! I know you will enjoy the work. I'm spending more time in HQ after being assigned "acting" while our region commander is at the FBINA. Let's see how they can tolerate us??

It'll suck for a while, but if you give it a chance, it'll be a nice break. Regular hours, having a reasonable sleep pattern, seeing the family on a regular basis, eating right, being home for holidays. You'll almost feel human again.
