Holy S--t! wow, i worked for a SECURITY company once with a no chase policy, thing was, even their managment was smart enough to realize you can't have that policy at specific accounts (like the one i was working near the intersection of Broadway st. and I-94 in one of the worst areas of Minneapolis). they actually told me in my (2nd training class, after my sophomore year of college). We know the account your going to you don't have to pay any attention to this no chase thing, everyone else listen up.

they were a security company and had the good sense to realize there are places where policies like this increase the crime and danger, and or would loose you the account.

Yea though I walk through the valley of no radio reception, with backup in excess of 40 miles away I shall fear no evil, for I am a warrior, for whom the ranchers have an affinity, and they can take the head off a gopher at 200 yards.

What kind of Security is it though and for what? Security is usually 'observe and report' stuff, and nothing confrontational most of the time.

Of every one hundred men, ten should not even be here. Eighty are nothing but targets. Nine are real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the One... One of them is a Warrior... He will bring the others back.

It's also great to see that her concern was money and not the welfare of the officers. Big shock there

Earlier this week, Peake said she ordered the ban after a city officer was hurt chasing a "guy who had a piece of crack on him." She said a drug possession charge was not worth higher insurance costs.
All along she was just trying to help out her fellow crackheads.

What you would call a 'high incident' account on the overnight shift at a 24 hour grovery store in Minneapolis' 4th Precinct as well as a few others i did. usually caught at least 3 shoplifters a week (who almost always fought) and broke up at least a couple of fights a week. i worked with a Private Investigator who was undercover about half of my shifts, 'twas good cuff 'n stuff fun, they made it clear to my company they weren't hiring observe and report, they were hiring someone to make arrests, fill out trespass forms, and turn the people over to the cops.
