First of all, I am going to move this to GTI, as I cannot find a question in the post. This section is for questions addressed to LEOs.
Number 2, while I appreciate the gratitude (as I am sure many would), it doesn't make me special. I just love what I do. Helping others is a nice collateral result. It is very rare that I directly help the innocent like many other LEOs, as my job is very different. More than anything else, I am a thorn in the side of the bandits, their friends and family.
Even overseas, I was noth thinking about the good I was doing... I was just out there having a great time.
Finally, it is very hard to make idiots change their minds.
