I was reading a few of the questions on here and I realized that PO's get very little respect from most people. I just want to say that I for one do understand that you put your life on the line trying to protect the public...who do not really appreciate you for all that you do.

I not only think you are heroes but I also find a police officer with a great and in shape body incredibly sexy! I cannot speak for eveyone but I will say that I always defend you when idiots are bad mouthing you for doing your job!

I think it bites big ones, that so many people talk smack about you until THEY NEED you for something!

So my compliments to you all!

First of all, I am going to move this to GTI, as I cannot find a question in the post. This section is for questions addressed to LEOs.

Number 2, while I appreciate the gratitude (as I am sure many would), it doesn't make me special. I just love what I do. Helping others is a nice collateral result. It is very rare that I directly help the innocent like many other LEOs, as my job is very different. More than anything else, I am a thorn in the side of the bandits, their friends and family. Even overseas, I was noth thinking about the good I was doing... I was just out there having a great time.

Finally, it is very hard to make idiots change their minds.

Yeah thats a load of horse crap if i ever heard it. You sound so nieve do have any idea about the real world?Yeah you have good cops, but honey they are not all out to just do there jobs.Some have serious issus they grow to hate people.Let me tell you something i got pulled over while i was already parked and at home about a brake light that i should have been pulled for 5 miles ago ,But do you think they said that no. They pulled there guns out on me made me put my hands on the car and told me a cop somewhere else said to pull me because it looked like i stop and made a drug trans(DUDE!) I never stopped at nothing but a light.HINT!They embarresed me at my home seached my car and me just barly because they knew i had nothing then they gave me a sitation about my brake light.
But in your world there all good hunh?

Judging from spelling and grammar I wonder if Mercedes isn't that 15 year old kid that put a hit on his mother down here in S. Fl the other day...BTW the "hit man" was 13 - tried to execute the hit with a cheap knife (lucky for Mom) that broke off on her collar bone! Ouch! Mom was treated at the scene, the "hitter" was arrested, the "good son" was arrested after the contract was found in the form of a text message on the hitters phone! Got to love Florida!!
