It seems the most trouble comes from the non-CCW folks who say really quickly "yeah I have a gun in the car" and before you can get "don't" out of your mouth, they are reaching for it; that kind of stupidity can get you shot.

I had to draw down on a DEA SA that did that to me about three years ago. (He hadn't bothered to ID himself to me yet.)

It may be the only time I have ever chewed the a** of a fellow LEO on a traffic stop.
