Around 0230 I went down to the QT to get some smokes. When I pulled up, this dingy looking white guy who was standing outside started staring at me real hard.
Now I live in a black neighborhood, so a white guy stands out.
I go into the store to get my smokes and a Diet Coke, and while I am in there, this guy came into the store, looked around and went back out. Ever get that "hinky" feeling? Well, I got it.
I go up to the counter to pay, and I asked the lady behind the counter if she had noticed the guy outside. She got a real scared look on her face and said she had seen him hangin around for a few minutes. I asked her if she wanted me to stick around and told her to call the cops.
Couple of minutes later, two County units pull up and next thing I know, they are hooking the guy up and putting him in the back of the police car!
The Clerk thanked me for sticking around, and I went outside to ask the cops if they needed anything from me. He said no, so home I went. I will try to find out what they hooked him up for today.
