My brother just got a DWI the other day and blames it on the cops for being too strict. I was so mad! However I caught my tounge... but come on! Can someone really be that dumb that he will blame the COPS for CATCHING him? WOW! I just wanted to slap him on the back of the head and tell him to wake the #@$#% up from his little fantasy land. He is even taking this to court... although he is my own brother I hope the court and arresting officer kicks his *** during the session!!!

Is it that hard to NOT DRIVE after having one to many beers? I understand that most people think that they are ok because they don't realize how smashed they are... but isn't it common sense that before you start drinking to give up your keys? Just the thought that he could have killed someone or himself makes me sick! It is beyond me... I guess I will never understand why some people are so simple minded and blind to the dangers of driving while intoxicated.

Ask him if someone held a gun against his head and made him drink and then drive ? He made a clear choice to drink and then drive. He KNEW that there is a legal limit and at least recklessy placed himself in danger of going over the limit and then driving. The officer only repsonded to what your brother had chosen to do.
