they had a cargo van doing something like that in my hometown area a couple of years ago. drive over the manholes, and pump it right up through the bottom of the van.

There's a rash of people punching holes in gas tanks and draining them. Especially U-Haul truck lots and the like. I'm glad I can park both my vehicles in my garage at night. It's funny to remember the same thing happened back in the mid 70's when gas went up to a whole dollar a gallon!:eek:

My van is in the shop getting the fuel pump and filter replaced. The last thing I did before I dropped it off is fill the tank. Yesterday, the shop told me I only had a few gallons in the tank. I thik I am going to sleep in my van with the shotgun the next couple of nights. :mad:
