How freaking disrespectful can one be showing up at a Written exam with shorts and flip-flops?
Like.... I'm aware that you're probably not even being judged at the Written exam but c'mon, if/when you become an officer/deputy, wouldn't you want people to respect what you stand for enough to at least wear some freaking khakis and a shirt with a collar while trying to become a member of MY TEAM?
I just took the Sheriff's exam and oh my god! I've never been to an interview in shorts and flip-flops...or an earring or sneakers... and they were jobs I didn't even care about!!!

rofl - It was just so upsetting. I sure hope I passed that written test, although I passed a VERY similar one for the CHP a year ago. 4-5 weeks and I should know.

Similar experience while applying for HPD. Whooole bunch of idiots in the room.
Here's a suggestion, perhaps you should save everyone's time if you just smoked weed the weekend before.
