    Which is worse?

This is going to be a very controversial post, one that's bound to definitely piss people off. And if not keeptcivil, I'm sure it'll be locked before it even gets off the ground:

I found both of these on the local Philly LEO forum that I visit and both are from two different groups - one I believe is by a bunch of racist skinheads (the poster) and the article is just a vile, disgusting piece by a racist POS.

I'm not sure where these things were found, but the officers who posted them are fuming over both, and I can't blame them. It's disturbing.

This website is called, "Ghetto Bragging Rights" and the article is titled, "New Sexy Philly Superthugs Feed Crooked Cop Ghetto Just Desserts", and it's enough to make someone throw their guts up.

Here's a snippet from the site:

One Philly-based GBR community member said that while he hadn’t had any negative experiences with Liczbinski, he would have to assume that he was just another of Philly’s anti black cops who gets their kicks out of trying to arrest and shoot black males.”

Equally as vile is this poster that comes back to "Keystone United", a PA skinhead group (keystoneunited.com) trying to use the deaths of P/O Daniel Faulkner, P/O Gary Skerski, P/O Chuck Cassidy and Sergeant Stephen Liczbinski's deaths for their hate-filled agenda. It was posted at Cottman & Frankford Aves.

The City of Philadelphia is full of racial tension as it is, and things like this don't help for either race. It only makes for more bad blood, and as much as Philadelphia has endured the past few years, especially since become known as "Killadelphia", things like this only add fuel to the fire.

Just looking for some good thoughts and debates and was hoping to be able to keep things civil before we end up saying IBTL.

Someone is always going to be saying that another race is less than their race is and will use insults and force to help get their point across.... I can provide you with examples of this from Roman literature where they considered the Gauls and Egyptians to be nonhuman....

I do wish the human race would be able to get away from this little foible but we as species seem to continue to make the same mistake....

As poplulations increase, resources, such as good jobs, good schooling, good housing, etc, become scarcer, and the friction between groups increases.... This planet is getting more crowded as we go along. There really are not any answers to how to deal with this type of problem....

Stuff like this from both sides is really not going to help....

Ok. Enuf of the rambling with out coffee in the body... Need my caffiene to be coherent...

    smcc & Ada,

Thanks so much for your input. I couldn't agree more, but I just get so frustrated how groups are lumped together just because of race. Therer are so many good people on all sides of the fence, but there are always that select few that just choose to bring a certain tragedy to light and play up on it to try to force their beliefs on everyone else.

There are a lot of things to consider that are always overlooks - stats in general: demographics, etc and it does play a big part in this whole thing.

I'll shut up now. Like you, Ada, I haven't had enough coffee in me. That I.V. drip sure would be good right about now. ;)

I'm usually more inclined to side with the pro-minority group (DUCKING NOW) because of the longstanding history of racism against black people, and many others, in our country.
That said, two wrongs do NOT make a right.
I've heard and read a lot, but I'm still appalled when someone actually praises the killing of a police officer.

Racism goes both ways. Period. There is not white vs black, white vs hispanic, white vs whatever race you can think of.

Racism is perpetrated by everyone, and it stems from a incorrectly assumed sense of entitlement. The bolded and underlined part of your post is the epitome of this. Equal civil rights came about more than 50 years ago. It's peoples attitudes that continue the cycle.

Change the word "Minorities" to "Dirt Bags" and it makes perfect sense to me.

Race is not the issue, growing number of people wanting to be a "Dirt Bag", is.

It's a free country isn't it, let people be racist if they want to be. The White people, for example, who dislike Blacks in lower econmic brackets are usualy those who have to deal with them regularly.
Likewise Blacks who dislike Whites are those are are abused/denied by them or atleast feel as though they are - and who's to say they're not. Not much is fair for them and hate is natural. Why all the disqust?

Your attitude is the very reason hate and racism exist in this country.

Be careful, your sense of entitlement is showing.

I don't think that tension is just in Philadelphia. I think it's an issue for the entire U.S. right now. Just look at the OJ verdict! 85% of whites polled after the verdict stated he should have been convicted. While 95% of blacks said the verdict was on point. Obamas minister is a disgrace to any race. Sharpton is right behind. The ones I see pouring gas on the fire are the ones most distant from being subjected to any discrimination. Yet they scream the loudest. There is a HUGE double standard in America that is slowly causing boiling within. And it will explode in years to come!

Quite frankly I don't care what color you are. But if you don't like it here, go back to the country where your family originated.

NOoooo that's BS. I'm a pretty liberal fellow, I have a Black Girly, I'll have you know.
Hate and racism have always existed, and on account of injustice, if not some clause of natural selection or something

OJ verdict is an entirely separate issue. At the time, the majority of other races including whites, stated he was guilty. That was mostly based off his own actions of fleeing down Southern CA freeways and sparking one of the more memorable media events in our decade, if not Century.

The Black community rallied toward his aid after his All-Star team of attorney's painted this as a possible racially motivated tampering of evidence by Detective Mark Fuhrman. It had been another line of possible Police conspiracy theories that fueled the community into believing that OJ was innocent.

At the time, and now, based off the evidence, the majority of people feel OJ did commit murder. A decent percentage of those in the black community have since changed their mind's about OJ, since the release of his book.

Sorry for starting a little firestorm here without meaning to.
I'll just repeat the second part of my opinion: two wrongs don't make a right, and the owners of that "gangsta" site (most likely cowards using company time to write these words in cozy offices over lattes) are bags of compost.

I was not talking about the actual verdict, I am talking about the perception of blacks v. whites in the AP polls after the verdict. (The verdict was the result of the interviewing LAPD detectives actions.) But the response from community after the verdict is what I am talking about. That is one example of many where if a minority person of is accused of wrong doing, the "minority" community gets behind them and publicly rallies that calling them out and prosecuting them is wrong!

But this nonsense continues today. In NY, a black man shot a white, unarmed teenage on his sidewalk. He did such because a group of teens came to his house to have words with his son. Rather than lock the door and call 911, he got a gun, came out and shot a kid point blank. The kid was 30 feet from the house, had no weapons and 911 was not called by the guy. Sharpton rallies the black community at what a disgrace it was he was prosecuted and how he was justified to protect his family.

But when a NYC Police Officer feels threatened and shoots a black male who has a long criminal history referenced he was getting a gun, and then failed to stop when ordered and then got in a car and ran over another cop, its racism.

    BULL*^%$!!!!

The double standard played by minorities is getting old. Its like the kid who is a crying and whining. You start to just ignore it.

I am tired of hearing "affirmative action." For what? In 2008, everyone is born in this country with the same opportunities. Color of skin means nothing. And people want preferential treatment? NO! NO! NO!

I am also tired of the word "reparations." My great grandparents got off a boat on Ellis Island. They endured discrimination themselves one set being Italian and the other Irish. They were denied work, denied education and forced to live other places than they wished. I don't think that I should have to pay one cent for something that occurred before my family even came to this country. The double standards needs to end!

Ok, I miss understood. I thought you were trying to state there was somehow a connection between the 85% / 95% ratio you listed. The only reason it was such was because of the BS race card played by the defense team.

The shame in this, as you already know, the media plays to these conspiracy theory radicals because thats what turns them an all mighty dollar.

I would love to start seeing some lawsuits generated by departments toward media outlets for slander, but we all know they going to pull their own card.

..as you can tell by my signature I am a huge fan of race cards.
