The video is no longer available.
That's weird. I just went to youtube and it's available. It's under "Columbus Ohio Division of Police".
Sorry about that.
Embedding is disabled for this video, but you can view it on youtube.;)

but the second mouse will get the cheese!
I just have a curious question, and it is not meant to offend anyone by any means, so I hope nobody takes it that way.
Why does a video that encourages minorities to apply need to be made? Is the area having trouble recruiting minorities and keeping a diverse work force? I have always been under the impression that race doesn't matter, and I don't feel that it should. I think everyone should be treated equally. I just don't see a relevance in creating a video that targets a specific audience, if you will. I understand political correctness and the new buzz-words of diversity as well. I just don't see the necessity to target one audience over another, but again, I am not from anywhere near the area.
The video, however, was very well done.
Two words: Affirmative Action. Kind of racist, isn't it?
"Dopers" are people too, you f'n *******.
You should see the Affirmative Action log I have to fill out when I hire people. I've made the argument that it is racist in nature because you only have to list minority candidates that have applied and list why you didn't hire them. They don't ask/care how many white candidates you interviewed and don't ask/care why you didn't hire them.
That pretty much meets my requirement for racism.
Minority recruiting/affirmative action aside. I thought the video was (cheesy at times) but tastefully done and highlighted well what CPD and the city has to offer.
I had the privledge yesterday of going with MM to his award ceremony with our families at the academy. It was absolutely amazing! Every part of it was great. I couldn't believe how family oriented everyone from the highest up on down was. They made it a day full of pride.
