I wish they had chargers at my station. They are a lot roomier than the crown vics. Maybe one day....ya right
I wish that new Crown Vic would have come to fruition. That was a heck of a car.
The movie is The Ref
"The enemy of my enemy is probably still my enemy."
right again Jakelock, you ARE a Leary fan
so, was there some cool new Crown Vic design that hasn't come to fruition? Any link to the concept car?

Only thing I can still find about it.
"The enemy of my enemy is probably still my enemy."
am I reading that right Jakelock? Are they implying that their push beam can make the Pit Maneuver safer?
I didn't see that part, but I don't see how it could. I'm not a PIT expert, but I'm sure there are a few on here. Hopefully they'll chime in.
"The enemy of my enemy is probably still my enemy."
From looking at the picture of the Ford, the black part would not do anything for the PIT maneuver. The PIT uses the front 2 feet of the front quarter panel. Sometimes if you don't do it just right you will get a secondary hit with the front of the bumper. But that's only if you mess it up.
Excuse me Officer, I have a stupid Question. "No problem, I've got a stupid answer for you!"
"The front end features a one-of-a-kind push/pursuit beam that extends beyond the normal bumper of a police car. "
"With a properly executed push in the corner of the vehicle, the beam can be used to force a fleeing suspect’s vehicle into a spin."
?????
We have wraparound bumpers on our new cars for the sole purpose of limiting any damage to the vehicle in the performance of the PIT. Still, if performed correctly, the most damage that should occur during a PIT is some scuffs on the bumper or maybe a cracked lens.
As to "making it safer," I'm not sure what's meant there. The maneuver is perfectly safe if it's performed in a manner consistant with training.
