    WTO.
    We did mostly officer rescue. Some of the tools included: 37mm/40mm launchers (rubber batons, wood batons, launchable chemical munitions, etc), ispra (large OC dispensers), crowd and persaonl-sized chemical grenades, stun grenades, flash/bangs, stun shields, Pepperball guns, etc... all delivered in a Peace Keeper APC.

    I used to live downtown San Jose next to the University. Every May 5 SJPD pushes all of the drunks out of downtown onto the SJSU campus. The campus cops would then push them all off campus into my apartment complex. Where my roommate, neighbors, and myself would block the gate and push them back into the street. A great time is always had by all. I'm going this year back just to join in the fun. We learned three years ago to park our cars a few miles away or else they would be smashed. Yay for everyones favorite Mexican holiday celebrations in the United States!!!! :mad:

    Switch is WTO World Trade Organization;
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Trade_Organization.

    I've never heard the term WTO before and when I Google searched it that made the most sense.

    Do the feds, mainly the 1811's, get involved in a lot of stuff like that nowadays? I know you guys helped enforce the integration in schools in the fifties, but I've never really seen the FBI, USMS, DEA, ATF, or any other agency like that doing riot control on the modern news. Is that a rare event for you or just something we don't hear about?

    I remember watching the WTO riots in Seattle in what was it? '99? Those were intense.
