I got an award....

Just tootin my horn a bit. I was called into the office yesterday by the Chief. No big deal...I go in and poke my head in his office and there was the LT, Captain and Chief. He tells me to go in the officers room he'll be with me in a minute. :eek: :eek:


I feel like a student waiting on the principle as I try to remember what I did to screw up. The door opens and everyone in the office comes filing in and I'm like WTF??


I got a new award being given out at the dept. I won the traffic enforcement officer of the year. I wrote the most in the dept but it was a compilation of speeding, seat belt, child safety seat and DUI's that they were looking for.

I got a nice letter and plaque. I was very surprised especially with me in the process of leaving.

Congrats! Especially on the DUI's.....I have a special sort of hatred towards those who drive drunk....I buried 22 friends between 1989 and 1991 because of DUI's....
