    Call a lawyer.
… you should be talking with an attorney
    ….. take the attorney's advice.
….. follow advice by your attorney.
I think the OP smokes too much weed and forgot the fact that he does smoke weed. As many times as the best advice was given, his short term memory sucks.

And you would be very, very surprised at how often people do things secretly while the people they live with have no idea. Just look at the "crazy wierd criminal stories" part of this forum. There's a college professor who kept a S&M lifestyle for decades without his family knowing.

Here's the bottom line, Dietitian. You came here looking for advice. You told your side of the story (and there are ALWAYS 2 sides to every story and the truth lies in the middle somewhere).

You've been given advice... which you obviously dont like.

You've asked more questions trying to support your side of the story when the LEOs poke holes in it.

Cops see situations like this all the time... but it doesnt take a cop to see your g/f, drug user or not, is causing you a ton of grief.

If you dont like the advice you've been given... go to the ACLU for advice, they might be a little bit more "compassionate" and "understanding" of what you went through.

Diet, if your bull**** stinks this bad over the Internet, I can only imagine what it must have smelled like to the officers actually in your presence.

Good luck with that gal of yours; she sounds like a peach. Probably not cheating on you, either...

I don't smoke weed. I have a lawyer on retainer but do not expect to use him. As was mentioned already, it's a small town LEO and I DO NOT want to be on his bad side.

I don't want any compassion or understanding! This was not a sob story! I want to know how to deal with a small town police dept after this situation.

Yes, there are always two side to every story. Your advice so far has been fine. Thank you.

There is no need to poke holes in the story. I'm not coming onto an anonymous forum to lie about my situation. Just pretend to believe that for a second.

Please take the story at face value. If you have any tips for me, other than dumping my girlfriend who is obviously a crack-ho, please -- I'm all ears.

I agree that it is possible that my GF is a drug addict. It's also possible that she's not and that the LEO was out of line. Which is more likely?

What I'm hearing is that LEOs are 99.99% in line, so my story must be BS.

Now you find out that she indeed took LSD.

How many people do you know that start out there drug use with LSD? I am betting that she is a regular drug user and either you know that, or you are to blind to see it.
Focusing on my GF as the source of the problem is very interesting. Assuming that one time drug use is indicative of a drug habit or extensive drug use would also explain why the LEO might think my house is a hotbed for drug use.

I can see why he reacted the way he did.

But why did he break so many laws when he arrested us? Why not just get the proper paperwork ready?
