    Question Help wanted

Situation: I met a Man on the internet. Invited him to my home. After 2 days it was clear that we were not compatable. We tried to be friends. But there are to many differences. Went to a club, had arguments. I returned him to his car parked at my home. i returned to the club. He kept text messaging me with very disrespectful words. I invited him back to take care or the situation. When he arrived, i proceeded to go into an ally. Offered to settle the dispute. he refused. Words were spoken and then he left. When i returned home, i found my kitchen window broken.

Can I make an anonomous complaint? I understand that there isn't any proof that he actually did the crime. What are my options?

NO you cant make an anonymous complaint.

If you dont want to really do anything further...why even dredge it up again.

Consider it the cost of " doing business".

If I were your internet Man, I would take you to much nicer alleys. And I would never break your kitchen window (though I might fog it with my breath and draw a little heart, so that you would see it when you were doing dishes).

    Happy Valentine's Day, everybody!

Maybe, when you meet someone on the internet and it doesnt work out, and the guy is being a tool, dont worry about settling it. All that is going to do is make it worse.

Even if you did take a report, the most that would likely happen is they would take a statement from you and maybe take some pictures. They likely wont come out and do all that "fancy CSI stuff" that William Petersen and Marg helgenberger do. They probably arent going to match shoe prints, search for DNA on the broken glass, or look for tire tread impressions like you might expect they would.

I do not intend to be rude, but these days I feel I have to ask: Was this a homosexual or heterosexual relationship?

The reason I ask is because you stated,
"..... I invited him back to take care or the situation. When he arrived, i proceeded to go into an ally. Offered to settle the dispute. he refused."
It sounds like you were "calling him out", and very few women I know would call a man "out" to settle their disputes. In any event, you showed extremely poor judgement and a lack of common sense inviting someone you just met on the internet to your home (for two days no less).

And what do you want to file an anonymous complaint about? If stupidity were a violation, you just made a prima facie case against yourself, and I'd be filing a complaint against you!

Heterosexual or homosexual doesnt matter. Bottom line is when you invite a stranger to stay in your home with you, you get what you ask for.

Sure you can make an anonymous complaint.

Do it on the internet. I am sure you will feel absolved of your loose behaviour and your effort will be just as effective.

    Just don't do it here.
