Well, he lost one lawsuit and the County had to pay out 7 mill to each Deputy fired. There still is a Federal Lawsuit pending.

There is an election coming up and he will not survive it. He was elected because he was the "Black Guy", and most of his opposition is black.

My County, in the last ten years or so has undergone a major demographic change, from mostly white to mostly black. When you piss off the black voters here, you are screwed.

Downside to all this mess, is that the County cannot get new insurance because no one will insure it.

I understand that for you, but I was just talking about the cops that got fired. You should have your local county/city council deduct pay from the sheriff to offset the losses.

This is what happens to taxpayers when they elect ethically challenged and incompetent individuals to public office. You get what you deserve with a democracy. It really sucks for the people smart enough not to vote for the idiot in the first place.

Are they getting their jobs back as well? I'm not sure they want them back now, considering they have seven million dollars.

Some went back, some retired, and some transfered over to the PD.

With $ 7 mil, I'd be investing and retiring to the no tax State of Wyoming, or at least using that as a state of residency. I might not with $ 4.5 mil. :D
