That seems like a very good siren. It's just different enough to get your attention. I'd love to have one.

Ok... I'll say it:
Another reason women will love cops lol.
Seriously though, seems like a good idea.
OMG I'd love that...I lose my voice almost every shift because some a jockey won't get out of my way with lights, siren, air horn, spotlight all blaring...
Is $350 quite cheap for a siren?
I don't know what some department deals can get for sirens but $350 isn't bad at all. Thats right around regular retail for a Fed Sig SS2000-SM.
One of the vids I was looking at that was "related" was a Federal Signal package with the Rumbler.
Definitely listen to the vids on your home computer if you have subwoofers...shook up the desk and all loose objects on it at max volume :D

Before you debate the law with me or another officer, make sure you have a "firm" grasp of the english language and try researching it, quoting it, or something else valid instead of "Well I heard that...."
Someone needs to come up with something else witty to quote...
This job is already bad on your hearing, I'd use that sparingly.
THis is the video I was referenceing in the previous post

Wow, in this video you can really tell how loud it is:
The third "cruiser" - sounds like a frigging airplane

Sounds like a rolling bomb siren

Rest in peace.
As I finish my midnight shift and plan to sleep all day, I for one can wait to hear that thing screaming down my street
Failing to train is training to fail
Is that really necessary?
I think the only people that claim that they didnt hear the siren are old, senile people.

No way...any jackhole that has their radio blasting usually isn't hearing a siren...
Case in point...my girlfriend a few years ago was riding in a car with some of her old friends and they had the music blasting (apparently a "girl thing" to do)...a FDNY rig was on the move..lights, siren, air horn and all. THey had just missed getting creamed crossing an intersection seeing it right out of their peripheral. They had no idea it was coming until almost too late. With all the noise those trucks make they heard not a thing...
Rumbler FTW!!!
