My dad always told me he didn't want me or my brother going into LE, but when we told him that's what we were doing, he supported us 100%.

My Dad has always been very supportive of my wanting to be a Police Officer. He has given me a lot of good advice and info about Police stuff, as an Explorer I love riding with him when he is on duty. Yes, that is allowed here, maybe it varies in other areas between father/son ride alongs.
