because I am really tired and depressed.

Someone I knew a long time ago, finally figured out that her son is a heavy duty meth user. Actually one of his friends ratted him out to mom.I told her about 9 months ago that the son was showing some classic signs of meth use. But she just blamed some other issues the young man had.

I tried to warn her how bad it could become. Her major response is "well we tried tough love and it didnt work". Having handled meth heads for going on 8 years, these are not normal people we are talking about. When you are using, your brain doesnt work like everyone elses.

I hate to say it, but you are basically the WALKING DEAD when you start using
meth. All that matters is getting meth. You dont care who you hurt, who you steal from, what it takes to get it, JUST THAT YOU HAVE TO HAVE IT.

I sometimes think that it would be nice to have a time machine and knowledge of dreamed up the stuff. Maybe something could fall on them.

Sorry to hear the terrible news. I had a somewhat similar experience with my cousin that was living with my parents. Being around it ( thank God I never tried it and get hooked ) I knew the classic signs...i.e...staying up for two days straight, sleeping ALL day, never ate, got really skinny, things went missing in the house, etc....

I tried explaining to my parents that hes using meth. Parents told me, "He may be smoking weed, but not meth". I tried to inform them that marijuana doesn't do this to a person, especially being up for days on end with no sleep. They had to find out the hard way by finding his "tools" in his bedroom. Moms picked him from school, drove straight to local PD station and took him right in.

He's on probation because of it, a hard lesson to learn but a lesson that had to be taught. Its just terrible how in every single town or big city is getting this meth plaque. I went and saw my grandma in a little town in Indiana, a town with just one street light, and she would say there has been meth labs getting busted almost on a daily basis.

Sorry for the long rant, I can't stand meth and its users, they become non-human when using that crap.
