And I hardly ever get mad.
I was up early this morning and turned on the TV. The commercial for Girls Gone Wild was on and they were hawking the boating show they have for sale now. Near the end of the commercial they make the statement that even law enforcement can't stay away and they show a closeup of several police cars and officers standing around. They imply that the officers show up to watch and take pictures. GRRRR! They even show the police cars close enough that you can see the name of the department on the door. None of the officers faces are blanked out either. The officers don't seem to be paying attention to the camera man so I have serious doubts that they are even in that location.
I don't know if what they are doing is illegal or not but it sure is tacky and so is the message they are sending.
Has anybody else seen this or am I just being sensitive?

Don't get BIG wrong, he loves the girls who go wild, but, have really had enough of "Girls Gone Wild". Instead of watching a videotape of others partying, BIG normally went out and partied himself. In other words, he had a life.

The cops could be, as you say, dubbed into the video to seem like they were there, could be actors paid to be there, or could quite possibly be real cops hired by GGW to work Security... I know a few Agencies that might hire their Cops out for something as lewd as those videos, despite the possible moral terpitude of the producers.
I've seen pieces of a few of their commercials...usually woke up on the couch and they were playinguntil I could find the remote to turn off the tv.
Regardless, it is part of the price we pay for freedom.

It seems like the name on the police cars said Osage or something like that. It was an odd name. I was barely awake. I usually flip the channel as soon as it comes on too but I caught the end of it this time and it happened to be the part showing the police.
Surely they were actors or something. I hope so but it still looks bad.

I would be surprised that the town let PO getting hired in full uniform to do security for GGW due to the fact that they can say stupid stuff like htat too easily and having people interpreting te presence of PO in the wrong way

It could be that the department received complaints about GGW and the officers were there to keep the peace.
