    Friends and Law Enforcement

I was just curious of how many of you back before you were an LE had friends that never thought you would be, some that seemend like they were trying to talk you out of it and then some that all of a sudden weren't your friends anymore? Not a problem with me yet even though most of my friends live in Florida and I moved to Ohio about 3 years ago.

I think it is really a non-issue. The quality of people that I entrust as friends did not change because I was looking to get into LE. My morals did not suddenly raise up so I could get hired as an LEO. Generally, people looking to get into LE don't hang with thugs in the first place. No one but a thug would have issues with hanging with a cop.
