I've got a Galco sholder holster for my Glock like fifteen years ago and still have it. It's missing one of the buttons but some medical tape took care of that. I don't wear it much anymore (way more cool looking back in the late '80s and early 90s :D but it lasted for ever. I have to say that I didn't want to spend the money back then because it was like $120 for the rig (holster, mag pouch and cuff case) but now I'm glad I spent the money for a good one that lasted... although, I also bought a cheap Uncle Mikes nylon adjustable midsize automatic holster and I've had that just as long and use it way more than all my expensive form fitted and leather rigs.

I have one of the Uncle Mike's cheap nylon adjustable shoulder rigs and wear it quite frequently, especially during this time of year.
Mine fits rather nicely over my chest waders, and USUALLY keeps my gear dry;)

I don't think I've honestly ever seen one being worn by anyone around here. The suits I've seen just wear a belt holster and mag case on their side. (I'm not a suit, so I can't comment on the merits of a shoulder holster.) :confused:

I keep the New York Reload in a shoulder holster. More convenient than an ankle rig, and it has pouches for a couple more spare mags.

I try to avoid wearing it with a black turtleneck, however; I fear I'd be crossing the line into self-parody.

I worked a case with a medium size Texas Police Department. The detectives were all in their early 30's and three of them wore a shoulder holster. I had only seen them on the "Jurassic Narcs" or oldtimers.
