    U.S. Citizenship

    I'm just curious, but how many Police Departments accept recruits who are not US citizens? So far the only one I know is the Chicago Police Department.

    LAPD too, but you have to be able to gain C'Ship within 2 years of joining.

    I didn't know that LAPD didn't require U.S. Citizenship either. Although they require to become a citizen within two years of joining, it's still good.
    I'm really considering Chicago Police Department, but I'm waiting for the email of when they'll have the next exams.

    I am not US citizen to and since I was very young I wanted to stay in united states. What a nice country! I would like to know if there is other police departements who are accepting candidates who are not american citizens.
