Bet they don't have a shortage of officers to sign up for the detail, though ;)

But really, there's diseases to worry about and there's gotta be other ways to prosecute. You can't wear a wire naked, but you can have it in your pants pockets or a shoulder/messenger bag.

And the marked money defense isn't even THAT good to justify it...I could think of a few explanations as to why I had the money but didn't perform the act if I were defense attorney. It's good evidence, but not that stellar to justify this "only way" in my opinion.

My state code specifies that the act can be completed. Until very recently one agency allowed single vice officers to "complete" the act. Maybe not professional, but legal.

Glad to see someone here gets it. I supervised our vice unit till I retired. In all the ops we did, I never saw one prostitute I'd even remotely want to have sex with. Not even the so called high class ones. And the last thing Id want to do is have to testify that I did in court. Man, what a major integrity issue.

Isn't that kind of hypocritical then? Shouldn't the officer be arrested too? It's like an officer buying crack undercover and then using it afterwards.
