My simulator partner (Captain upgrade) and myself were leaving the Delta training center yesterday after four glorious hours in the "box". So he runs a stop light by accident (I'm the passenger). We get stopped by Hapeville PD. I try to tell my partner to keep his hands on the wheel and not move around (he knows I'm a former COP). What does he do? He jumps out of the vehicle! Oh ****! He is ordered back in the vehicle by the Police and myself. Our eyes were bloodshoot as all get out from being in the "box" so the Officers thought we had been drinking but we explained our situation. My partner was let go with a warning.
Rather strange being on the other end of a traffic stop since I used to do quite a few of them.

We were at the stop light and he was telling me about his A-10 flying days in the AF and zoom...he just took off.

looking at your blog here it made me remember when i was younger, 19 yrs old
I was driving to a formal dinner with my parents in the car with me, I had just bought the car and the police officer pulled me over to check the stickers on the car, the normal stop, insurance , dl ,and such. Officer comes back and says Mrs. Demntedmom can you please step out of the car. WHAT ohhh noooo.
It seemed me Mrs. demntedmom had for got about a ticket when she first got her lic. and didnt want to tell her parents and thought it would just flutter by and nothing would happen.... lol That night was a night to remember. lol picture a young lady in a formal going to jail, the officer was so nice he kept saying im so sorry but I have to do this... you really dont belong here...lol Mind you I got bailed out, and only was in a short time, but lesson learned no tickets since....lolol

The buyout would have to be approved by a bunch of people, the creditors, the judges, the shareholders (both sides), etc, etc, etc. Not sure how much power our pilot union (ALPA) has with regard to this. Originally Posted by sbrad
