looking for info on Mass commercial vehicle enforcment guys

NYPD has a "motor carrier unit" a subunit of highway which does stuff like this. DOT also does stuff like this. I'm sure there's many departments that have units or sub-units of highway units that do nothing but trucks.

I tried both the MA state police website and the MA RMV page, no mention on either. Is it possible that there is no such department, but they are troopers just assigned to commercial vehicles?

With few exceptions , ALL Motor Carrier Enforcement Officers enforce the same federal regs. 49 CFR. A logbook violation in Idaho is the same in Georgia.

I inspected four yesterday, 3 were placed out-of-service.
Trash haulers are very dependable.
