This thread is meant for Jeter4MVP2006's thread concerning "How long will it take to find a job???". Since I can't post in the "Ask-A-Cop" section, I wanted to mention something. Now I'm not trying to be an *** but, instead of going online and searching for advice on how long it will take to get a job and asking if you have a chance...go out and fill out applications to police departments, academies, etc,. Go talk to some officers around your area, ask what you can do to get in. If you want it bad enough, you should have no problem. My advice to you is to go out and tell yourself you are GOING to do it, don't have a mind set of TRYING to do it. Good luck to you. ;)

There's a reason it's called "Ask-A-Cop", and that reason is NOT so that you can COPY THE QUESTION into a forum where non-verifieds can respond to a question and COMMENT on it, WITHOUT BEGIN VERIFIED, simply because you can't answer the question there but feel as if you SHOULD be able to.

This isn't "build your own forums" day.

Questions posted in "Ask-A-Cop" need to remain in "Ask-A-Cop", and answered BY verified cops.
