Just when you think you work in a safe environment.. nope.
I work in a library of all places. A man comes in wanting a library card,
he fills out the application, walks toward me and I see a gang bandana
hanging out of his back pocket. So anyways I go on, ask him for a piece
of identification since by policy you need an ID to get a library card. He
says he doesn't have any ID, so I explain to him to come back since we
aren't allowed to process cards without ID. He says "No give me the card
now" I have to repeat myself atleast 5-6 times saying I can't do that.
He get's agitated. He stands there giving me an evil stare for about 20
seconds, I'm just standing there not knowing what to tell him other than
to come back with ID. He pulls out a gun halfway... my life flashes before
my eyes of all the memories and my family that I wasn't focused on the gun
anymore. It was so weird. He slowy put's it back and takes off. Very scary.

The library is located in one of the city's gang-ghetto neighborhoods, and the only reason people apply for cards there is to get on the internet.
