DC police

are there any DC police officers who can tell me how the selection process is for DC police. It is not for me, but rather for a friend who was thinking of trying to get in. Thanks for any information!

Hey, I'm in the process right now. Being out of state it is taking a bit longer but Since I took the test on the 14th of October I'm pretty much done with everything besides a few referances for my BI and the final interview.

how has the process been? my friend actually really wants to get into law enforcement. He tried going nypd but couldnt get in. Long story, so i feel kind of bad. Anyways, any info you can offer would be great! BTW 2 weeks till graduation for me and my fellow nypd recruits :D

I'd say he has a pretty good chance because I hear they are looking for a lot of people and if he hasn't done anything really stupid they probably will take him. It's an easy process. He will have to make a couple trips to DC but my BI is freaking awesome. She has been real cool, which is making the process go a lot smoother. I have to choose between DC and a sheriff's office in Georgia so I'm probably going to choose the Sheriff's office, so there is one more spot for your friend in DC!! :D

haha i dont blame ya! sheriff jobs are reallll good! id def take the sheriff job over the DC job. The DC job will always be there!
