Anybody seen that show on court tv. It followed police chief Mike Chitwood around for a year, as he ran the Shawnee, Oklahoma police dept. Just intrested as to wether this was slanted or he really is like this. He is now the police chief in Daytona Beach and I know he has been on the news several times responding to calls. Just intrested what others thought about him or if they had more insight on this.

He used my communication boards for his officers in Shawnee and did autism training utilizing Dennis Debbaudt's video. I've heard only good things about him and his dad who is a chief in a neighboring county.

I saw that show, I thought it was going to be a series, so since I had to do something else, I missed about half of the program. It was interesting.

I work for him now and he is the real deal. Very much a leader, very much a cop. He'll show up on calls and ask you where you need him. He chased down a doper a few weeks back, got a gun and a bunch of dope then insisted on doing the paperwork himself.

The officers would follow him to hell and back.

Dallas' Chief Kunkle has been known to go out on patrol too. I think he said that he tries to do it every couple of months. He's made the news a few times chasing down a robbery suspect, doing traffic stops, and stuff like that.

I imagine people are surprised when they get a ticket by the Chief of Dallas PD :p

Isn't it supposed to be a series? I thought when they were playing commercials for it they described it as the series premier. Anyway, it was a good show.

Well the drug bust he went on he pulled his gun out, so my guess is you just didn't see it. I would think a former philly cop would have one on him for a search warrent.
