Dallas' Chief Kunkle has been known to go out on patrol too. I think he said that he tries to do it every couple of months. He's made the news a few times chasing down a robbery suspect, doing traffic stops, and stuff like that.

I imagine people are surprised when they get a ticket by the Chief of Dallas PD :p

Thats awesome. Have yet to hear anything negative about the guy.

It was pretty cool to see him bond with the officers and award them for all their hard work. It was also good to see the chief go on to a bigger department.
