Which is why I was upset about it. If he truly thought that I would pass him, then I have no complaints what so ever. It's just the fact that he admitted to the officer that he slammed on his brakes because he was mad, risking injury to himself and myself. Don't mean to come on here and complain, but it's frustrating.

961; Non-Injury Accident, 962; Injury Accident, 963; Fatal Accident. What you don't want to hear is dispatch put an Adam behind it, 962A, which means a police officer is involved.

Here it's called an "Ambulance T/C."
I used to care. Now I take a pill for that.

Maybe it's just me, bit i call them crashes (MVC in our CAD). Accidents are things that happen, while crashes are caused. I know, I'm a weirdo.

10-50 PI (personal injury) here, or just a PI for short. But, I digress.

I have actually gotten an ambulance going sideways down a snow-covered four lane highway. It's really, really not fun. And it really didn't take a whole lot to do it. I tapped the brakes just a smidge harder than I should have, the wheels locked, and we were off to the races.

That said, I'd be inclined to wait for the fellow to pull over and stop so I don't have to make any sudden movements while passing. You know, like hitting the gas, tapping the brake, swerving, etc. Or, if I'm going nowhere fast, I'd just shut down all the emergency equipment. I hate driving at 15 mph with lights and sirens. It probably looks as rediculous as it is. Anyway, since it took me two weeks to unpucker myself from the seat after the first incident, I'd prefer to not do that again! :D
