    (Georgia) Department of Public Safety?

I have seen dozens of white CVPIs with blue light bars wearing "Department of Public Safety" lettering. I have seen many (outside of Atlanta as well) conducting traffic stops (or what appear to be traffic stops). Is this a state law enforcement agency? Just curious.

Formerly DOT Police. They enforce the HOV lane and tractor trailor laws and man the weigh stations. Yes, they are a state agency. If you look at the trunk of their cars is says "State Officer".

    Roger that.

BTW, those chili dogs from the Varsity are still causing major air biscuit production. What's up with that?
