It would appear as if it didn't work that well, even after continuous applications. In your opinion should the officers resorted to another intermediary use of force?

Opinions? Comments?

P.S. The beer seemed to work well for decontamination :D

I saw that on COPS - It taught me that OC doesn't work on drunks :D

He looked like he was actually enjoying it at one point :p

Usually works better on dogs than people, but if you mix some with honey and spread it on a railing or bottom of a bench where the crackheads hang out it can help limit their stay (not that I would ever condone such tactics.):D

That's a tactic Dallas needs to adopt!!! - Do you also have a solution for them urinating in doorways & halls? I was thinking of developing a product that's like hooking electrified doggy fence chargers to metal plates on the floors that they urinate on :D

Luckily they all stay away from where I work - I'd be temped to start some R&D - lol.

Where I am working we often ( almost every night ) have to deal with violent drunk people and I can tell you from the experience that i got, When someone's drunk, violent and or under the influence of drugs, at least 50% of the time OC doesn't work........ the only people who are reacting are us where there is a draft of wind at the same time:D

The other native departement who is collaborating with us they are using teasers and wooooooooooow its awsome with those people.....

Holy crap! I don't understand how some people can take that and it's like it doesn't phase them. I remember way back I worked in an emergency room and a guy came in pumped up on PCP and it literally (really, literally) took 8 officers AND a couple of staff to hold him down and apply restraints.

Yes.

Doesn't work much better. I have had luch in the few people I have sprayed so far. Only benifit is it does not get into the residual air as much.

Now I have a taser though. I use it first as my policy allows.

I've never actually sprayed anyone in the ten years I've had it. I've hit a few dogs, a whistle pig (don't ask) and a spider. FYI it doesn't work on spiders
