When you visit this site you can enter your address and a map will pop up with your house as the small icon of a house and red, blue, green, dots surrounding your entire neighborhood. When you click on these dots a picture of a person will appear with an address and the description of the crime he or she had committed.
The best thing is that you can show your children pictures and see
how close these people live to your home or school. This site was developed by John Walsh from Americas Most Wanted. Another tool to help us keep our kids safe.

Its not right near me, there are more then what it shows. I know becuase they just did a news story about registered sex offenders living in the hotels on 192 outside of Disney. They showed more then whats on this map.

Just be advised the site is not entirely accurate. I checked and saw that 3 sex offenders that I have personally checked on in our registry checks aren't on that map.

The site shows 3 within 2 tenths of a mile from me, but I know that from working with the county that there are many more there.
It sucks but I like having faces to watch for while I'm driving down the street.
