VSP Academy Week 7 (112th)

These last two weeks have really been rough, and I'm looking forward to getting back into the classroom next week. (Never thought I'd say that!) We have some very good classes on the schedule, so it should be a good week. Plus the 111th will be back from FTO, so the Sergeants can spread the love around again instead of just focusing on us. :D

Lay back and relax this weekend. Do you drink beer? Open an can or two if you do, or an nice glass of dry red wine.

Good to hear that you're accepted by the big guys:D

I had my problems with the first femals officers in our station 14 years ago, but one of them safed my life in danger and after that time I changed my mind.

Go ahead with that good work. And when you promoted to the officers rank, you send me an patch, OK:D

As far as trying to win acceptance...get used to it. You will probably have to do that throughout your career. Maybe with people you work with and lots of times with people you stop.


In my class we had about 5 females and I had the utmost respect for them before DT or firearms. But after I had even more because I got to see their determination. And interestingly I lost respect for some male classmates after it was over and done with.

We aren't looking forward to coming back today. It's going to be hard leaving the family again. Thank God it was only for 2 weeks instead of 4, that would have been torture. At least when we get back and get hazed again from the staff we will be on the "down-hill" slide to graduation.
