Yep, the stuff sucks! I just got introduced to it this week at the academy! I was hit with Freeze + P. Not as bad as the Winchester V4, but it wasn't a walk in the park either! My advice is to use baby shampoo, the no more tears kind. It works pretty well and won't add to the stinging pain your already going through! Can't wait, 2 more weeks and I graduate!!! :p

im getting sprayed today and i told the academy class i wasnt going to say anything when i get sprayed. i wil let you all know how that went when i get home blind today!

all man. i just got home from academy and i cant see a thing.(someone drove me home). my ears are still burning but i washed with shampoo. it seems as if washing makes it burn worse.i want to put my contacts in so bad so i can watch tv. ohh yeah by the way i didnt make any noise when i got sprayed. it was after a few minutes when i started talking. my department uses saber 5.0 straight stream o.c. its 2 million shu's!

Does your certification "expire" down there for pepper spray? I'd heard rumors of having to be recertified every three years up here.

No, never heard of that. I get sprayed enough in the line of duty I could requalify every couple months anyway. :D

Our basic certification is good forever in our state (Mississippi). If your an instructor, then it expires every 3 years...

After I got sprayed I just jumped in the shower with clothes and everything...I have a new found respect for that stuff!
