Background: San Francisco Police Officer Nick Birco was killed July 26, 2006 when his police car was struck by a stolen van occupied by suspects who had just committed an armed robbery and were being pursued by SFPD units. This video was of a press conference given by a member of the SFPD brass. This demonstrates how administrators should act.

Damn, that was awesome. You're right, I wish more administrators would step up, put their reputation on the line, just like the LEOs do everyday at every moment and lay it down like this man did.

There's a great video on the SFPOA website where this guy just reems the SF police commission after they decided not to attend a fire/police memorial. Oh man. As soon as he finished, he and four officers that were sitting down got up and left the building. The commissioners looked somewhat taken aback. :D
