I'm just curious, I just joined this forum today and I am noticing alot of other officers have been polygraphed. I never have. Im just curious as to know how many of you have been polygraphed as opposed to not? Thanks

I think the vast majority of law enf agencies administer the poly or cvsa. Im aware of a few states that ban them totally though, Mass is one i believe.

Sadly, it is mandatory under Connecticut law. You must pass a polygraph in order to become POST certified.

Louisiana here...NOPD utilized the polygraph when i was hired. Alot of departments are starting to administer the CVSA in leiu of the poly.

I have, And 100% of the sworn employees in my department have been polygraphed. (It's part of the hiring process)

Passed both, just told the truth.Helen Keller graduated from college with honors. She was blind and deaf. So what's your problem?

My agency requires a polygraph in order to be hired. I have never had a CVSA though. Here are the qualifications for Florida: http://www.fdle.state.fl.us/cjst/off..._standards.htm.

2nd fed. agency, no poly, but sometimes they let me stay at a Holiday Inn Express:D
